Andrea Sanchez DavidsonSenior Program Associate, West Campaigns
Based in the Energy Foundation’s Las Vegas office, Andrea administers grants and develops and deploys regional program strategies, while managing communications with current and prospective grantees in the West. She previously served as Senior Program Associate for the Energy Foundation’s Coal Program.
Andrea has worked on clean energy campaigns since 2010 when she joined the Sierra Club’s Beyond Coal Program as a community organizer in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She went on to work in the Sierra Club’s National office in San Francisco as a legal assistant for the Environmental Law Program, working with attorneys to bring Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act cases across the country on behalf of the Beyond Coal Program, before joining the Energy Foundation as the Coal Program Associate. She has also spent time conducting research on food and farming policy with the Center for Food Safety.
Andrea holds a B.A. in International Relations with an environmental emphasis and Holistic Health minor from San Francisco State University, and studied abroad at the Pontifical University of Salamanca in Salamanca, Spain. Andrea most recently completed a Certificate Program in Nonprofit Management and Leadership with San Francisco State University.
