
Jessica Finn Coven leads U.S. Energy Foundation’s (EF) Programs team and is a member of the EF Management Team. Working with Programs staff, the board, and external partners, she synthesizes ambitious strategies that integrate policy, campaign, and communications thinking across venues and issues. Jessica also advances EF’s cultural values of learning, service, community, equity, and transformational impact through program strategy, management practices, and organization-wide leadership. Additionally, she partners with the Strategic Partnerships team, Programs staff, and CEO to secure the resources needed to advance EF’s program strategy.
Jessica previously served as Director, Office of Sustainability and Environment at the City of Seattle where she oversaw all aspects of the department; supervised staff; and managed operations, communications, and programs. Before that, she was Washington Director and Policy Specialist at Climate Solutions, a Northwest nonprofit whose mission is accelerating clean energy solutions to the climate crisis. Prior to that, she was Program Director at the U.S. Climate Action Network. Earlier roles include International Advisor to Greenpeace China, and Climate and Energy Campaigner for Greenpeace.
