In his role as Program Associate, Northeast, Colton supports members of the regional team to plan and manage projects and budgets, make and administer grants, engage with funding partners, and work with advocates and other partners to execute strategies and projects. Colton also manages projects within and outside the team, provides administrative support to the team, prepares and manages funder materials, maintains budgets, and plans and supports meetings, conferences, and other events.
Colton previously worked with the Operations Team at New York University’s Center for Data Science, both as an Administrative Aide and a Department Administrator. In these roles, he grew the Center’s digital platforms, generated grant reports, and optimized workflows through project management and planning.
