Jessica Finn Coven leads a complementary team of policy and communications experts developing strategy and supporting expert networks in the areas of transportation, buildings, clean power, energy efficiency, fossil energy, and clean energy markets. She oversees the implementation of Energy Foundation’s strategic vision for national work through the management of people and processes, ensuring strong supervision across the team with a focus on enhancing diversity and inclusion, performance management and individual growth, and mentoring and coaching.
Jessica previously served as Director, Office of Sustainability and Environment at the City of Seattle where she oversaw all aspects of the department, supervising staff and managing operations, communications, and programs. Before that she was Washington Director and Policy Specialist at Climate Solutions, a Northwest nonprofit whose mission is accelerating clean energy solutions to the climate crisis. Prior to that she was Program Director at the U.S. Climate Action Network. Earlier roles include International Advisor to Greenpeace China, and Climate and Energy Campaigner for Greenpeace.
