Jillian Kysor

Program Director, Southeast Policy

Jillian Kysor fosters development of clean energy and climate policies and strategies in the Southeast, a high-potential region for achieving meaningful policy outcomes. She develops and funds policy strategies that will achieve ambitious, equitable, and regionally aligned policy goals in the power, transportation, climate, industry, and building sectors. Jillian also works with internal and external partners to evaluate policies based on emissions reduction potential, technical and market viability, collaboration prospects, and other criteria important to securing durable and equitable clean energy and climate progress.

Prior to joining EF, Jillian worked as a senior attorney for the Southern Environmental Law Center, where she developed strategy and identified priorities to maximize the deployment and accessibility of solar energy in the South. She also has represented numerous non-profit organizations on energy-related issues before the Georgia Public Service Commission.
