Oriana manages the day-to-day execution of a set of West policy-related grantmaking and projects, while ensuring alignment with overall program strategy and goals. She manages the workflow of key West policy-related efforts, and improves collaboration and alignment within the region and with EF’s National Policy programs. Oriana also supports the West team’s grantmaking budgeting systems and tracking, working closely with the Senior Regional Director, West.
Previously, Oriana was the Energy, Climate, and Transportation Manager at Verde, where she managed staff, fundraised, and built budgets and strategic workplans to advance climate and energy justice. Prior to that, Oriana served as an Outreach and Policy Advocate with the NW Energy Coalition, and developed an organizational commitment to and engagement with environmental justice communities and worked to make energy processes more meaningfully inclusive.
