Amar contributes a strategic communications perspective to EF’s state and regional strategies in the Northeast; manages EF’s state communications work and other regional communications contracts and grants; develops, tests, and shares guidance to advance key narratives across states and regions; serves as a point to connect state stories and national communications partners; and builds strong relationships and communications capacity among EF grantees throughout the region.
Most recently, Amar was a Senior Digital Director at Spake Media House, where he led and collaborated with a team of digital strategists, marketers, and communicators to build digital communities and brands to inspire action for mission-driven clients. He also developed, managed, and implemented strategies on climate, clean energy, environmental justice, and more. Amar also has worked as a digital strategy and marketing consultant, and in various media and marketing management roles.
