Araceli works with California Program Director Jose Carmona to administer grants and develop and deploy regional program strategies. She manages communications with current and prospective California grantees.
Araceli was previously the District Field Representative/Policy Liaison to former Assembly Democratic Majority Leader V. Manuel Perez (Coachella, 56th AD). While there, she executed an affordable housing forum, organized a round table with the Clinton Health Matters Initiative on the Salton Sea and air quality in the Coachella Valley, and staffed local policy issues including water quality, geothermal resources, renewable energy, public safety, affordable housing, health, and education. Since 2012, she has worked on various assembly and local city council campaigns in the Coachella Valley.
Araceli holds a B.A in Political Science and Spanish from University of California, Berkeley.
