Briyana supports the efficiency of grantmaking processes and systems for multiple departments, grantees, and applicants, and provides assistance at multiple stages of the grants lifecycle. As a point of contact and partner to program colleagues, Briyana is familiar with the foundation’s funding areas and best practices in grantmaking, data management, and legal compliance.
Prior to joining EF, Briyana was an Academic Program Specialist in the Office of Academic Services and Quality at the University of Maryland (UMD) Global Campus. In this role, she resolved and answered inquiries from students, faculty, and staff; maintained filing systems and databases; planned and led training for new staff on processes and procedures; and prepared and reviewed reports. Briyana also was a Student Services Representative at UMD, and helped students navigate financial aid, student accounts, and transcripts. Briyana also has worked as a teacher’s assistant.
