Casie Yoder

Program Director, Southeast Communications

Casie contributes a communications perspective to U.S. Energy Foundation’s state and regional strategies in the Southeast; manages the foundation’s state communications work and other regional communications contracts and grants; develops, tests, and shares guidance to advance key narratives across states and regions; connects state stories and national communications partners; and builds strong relationships and communications capacity among U.S. Energy Foundation grantees.

Casie previously worked at Energy Media, a collaboration of U.S. Energy Foundation and Resource Media, where she served as the Southeast Communications Director. Previously, Casie worked with a variety of clients as Founder and Principal of Casie Yoder Consulting, and provided communications strategy and campaign management. Prior to that, Casie was a Public Information Officer with the City of Decatur, Georgia, where she was a spokesperson, and managed writing and editing speeches, crisis communications, and led project management for the city’s communications.
