Cristina works with the West Regional Team as a Senior Program Associate, supporting the team to plan and manage projects and budgets, make and administer grants, and work with advocates and other partners to execute strategies and projects. She also manages projects within and outside the team, develops and implements systems and processes to facilitate internal and external collaboration, provides administrative support to the team, and plans and supports meetings, conferences, and other events. She also supports the team in planning and implementing communication strategies.
Cristina has over five years of experience in fundraising, community outreach, and volunteer management. Previously, Cristina served as the Development Officer at The Posse Foundation, where she managed the major gifts committee which oversaw a portfolio of 150 institutional and individual donors, and helped to increase both revenue and alumni giving. She also wrote grant reports and proposals, and developed engagement opportunities for donors. Cristina is passionate about empowering underserved communities and exploring solutions for environmental inequities.
