
Gentry Higgins administers the Energy Optimization Program. She is the center point for the program, working with grantees, consultants, and funders to drive building decarbonization work forward. She manages the program budget, reviews grant proposals, and drafts reports. She collaborates and coordinates with other Energy Foundation teams and external partners, all to address the building sector climate crisis so that people are better off.
Gentry previously worked for Carbon Lighthouse in San Francisco, California, as a talent acquisition specialist, conducting full-cycle recruiting across Hawai’i, San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles geographies and departments. Before that, she was a talent acquisition coordinator Parsable in Charlotte, North Carolina, and a campaign organizer on various congressional and local electric utility campaigns.
