Gerald manages the development of EF’s Salesforce system. As the principal Salesforce resource, Gerald manages administrator duties and case support, as well as discovery, design, and implementation for enhancements. Gerald also works closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject-matter experts to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes such as partnerships, grants, contracts, and event management.
Prior to joining EF, Gerald founded his own consulting firm, Spica G LLC, and served as a Salesforce consultant to a variety of philanthropic organizations, where he helped foundations transition to and successfully implement Salesforce. Prior to that, he worked with the James Irvine Foundation as an IT Developer and Architect, and drove an organization-wide transition to Salesforce, and worked across the organization to implement IT solutions to increase organizational efficiency.
