Jonathan supports the Northeast Office’s internal coordination, helps manage the workflow of the team’s grantmaking efforts and grantee engagement, and performs research on policies, programs, and initiatives in the Northeast. He also assists in preparing funder communications and board dockets on behalf of the team.
Most recently, Jonathan was a Manager of Defend Our Future, a project of the Environmental Defense Fund, where he designed the campus ambassador program to empower students on climate action, built and maintained organizational relationships in order to advance climate priorities in Congress, and managed Defend Our Future’s legislative strategy. Jonathan also previously worked as a Project Manager and as an Operations Coordinator with Defend Our Future, coordinating climate leadership summits and preparing campaign proposals and reports. Prior to that, Jonathan was a Communications Manager at Conover + Gould Strategy Group in Washington, DC.
