Joseph Washington

Contract Specialist

Joseph Washington manages all invoicing for the U.S. Energy Foundation Programs team, including receiving invoices, reviewing for accuracy and completeness, submitting and following up to ensure payments are completed. He serves as the central facilitator between the Programs team and Finance team. He also assists EF program associates with processing grants and contracts.

Previously, Joseph was the Senior Administrative Assistant to the Director of the MD/PhD Program at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, NY. He managed the director’s calendar; developed, implemented, and managed confidential paper and electronic record-keeping systems, and coordinated travel itineraries. Before that, he was Senior Administrative Assistant in the Office of the Dean, School of Education, at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.
