As Senior Human Resources (HR) Generalist, Karen independently leads the daily operational aspects of the HR function in areas including recruitment, employee onboarding, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, compensation, benefits, and training. Karen works closely with employees and managers to answer questions and help resolve complex issues in the areas of benefits and employee relations.
Prior to EF, Karen worked as an HR Generalist at Care Indeed in Menlo Park, CA, conducting community outreach at local schools for potential candidates, and managing the hiring and onboarding process for new staff. Karen also served in an HR role with the Center for Social Dynamics, where she spearheaded diversity & inclusion projects and coordinated new hire orientations.
