Katie Koffman supports the Northeast office’s internal coordination, maintains the region’s budget, and works closely with other regional offices and Energy Foundation headquarters. She focuses on project and budget management, as well as some grants management on the most complex grants in the region.
Katie was a graduate assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she researched climate and coastal resilience policies in cities. She also worked on projects involving community engagement and stormwater runoff, as well as colonialism, land use, and the spread of disease in Latin America. Prior to that, she worked for the Energy Foundation’s Southeast Region as a program associate.
