Katya Botwinick works with Emily Enderle, Program Director, Northeast Campaigns, to administer grants and develop and deploy regional program strategies. Katya also manages communications with current and prospective Northeastern grantees.
Before joining the Energy Foundation, Katya spent several years in Philadelphia, Penn., working as a community media advocate and nonprofit administrator. Most recently, she served as the Grants and Special Projects Manager at Friends of Farmworkers, a legal aid organization specializing in employment and immigration law.
Katya holds a B.A. in Sociology from Wesleyan University and a M.P.A. from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. While at the Maxwell School, Katya was awarded the Alvin L. Alm Scholarship for Environmental Leadership.
