Rachel works with the Program Team and across EF to ensure consistency in the operational management of EF program activities, ensuring strategically aligned, consistent, and equitable grantmaking and program implementation. Rachel creates, manages, and enhances the processes, tools, and systems to support and improve EF programs.
Previously, Rachel worked with the University of California Office of the President as the Director, Grant Operations, where she led a team to carry out the business and operations functions of the department, oversaw the annual budget, and developed organizational work processes. Prior to that, Rachel held various roles at Sandia National Laboratories, and worked with executive leadership on strategic planning, diversity and inclusion efforts, and managing the roll-out of strategy.
