Reena Fram supports the States and Regions team, coordinating regional teams around strategy development, cohesive grantmaking across regions, and fundraising for the field. She also supports grantmaking for national efforts to promote renewable energy and grid integration. Previously, while studying international environmental policy at the Free University in Berlin, Germany, she fostered an interest in the energy sector. After returning to her home university, she interned with Green Business Program of Santa Barbara, a non-profit working to improve efficiency in small businesses, and participated in the Sara Miller McCune Endowed Internship and Public Service Program, a program concentrated on non-profit design and connectivity to community. Before coming to Energy Foundation, Reena worked on water resource projects in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Reena holds a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in German studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
