In her role as Program Associate, Midwest, Sara supports members of the regional team to plan and manage projects and budgets, make and administer grants, engage with funding partners, and work with advocates and other partners to execute strategies and projects. Sara also manages projects within and outside the team, provides administrative support to the team, prepares and manages funder materials, maintains budgets, and plans and supports meetings, conferences, and other events.
Most recently, Sara served as a Portfolio Associate with Arch Grants, a nonprofit that funds seed-stage industry-agnostic startups through non-dilutive grants. There, she oversaw tasks within program development, event planning, community management, business development, and grant tracking and reporting. Prior to that, Sara worked at RiverVest Venture Partners as a Marketing and Communications Specialist, and also was selected as a Fellow with Venture for America.
