Thea Gay supports the Strategic Communications team to plan and manage projects and budgets, make and administer grants, engage with funding partners, and work with advocates and other partners to execute strategies and projects. She also manages projects within and outside the team, provides administrative support to the team, maintains budgets, and plans and supports meetings, conferences, and other events.
Thea previously served as a Program Associate for The States Project, where she developed tracking systems for coordinating projects and data, led national cross-team collaboration, and executed high-level programming. Prior to this, Thea maintained communication with partners, provided program support and engagement data, and assisted in social media content as a Programming Fellow at Intersectional Environmentalist.
